Webstock 2010 day two

Two day of Webstock gave me an all over warm fuzzy feeling. It really made me feel like I was apart of something special. Day one of Webstock did have afew outstanding speakers, like Shelly & Scott, but day two had more even flow of quality to the speakers presenting.

Two day felt like there was abit of theme to the sessions of making start-ups works and mobile come-ubiquitous computing  (ubiquitous" nice shine word to learn folks - seehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubiquitous_computing or is that ubiquitous marketinghttp://www.onlinemarketingconnect.com/lauralippay/2010/02/the-future-of-marketing-part-3-marketing-straight-to-the-brain/) .

My highlights for  day two, was the punchy start by  Eric  , Daniel  and Amy. Eric gave us the inside on how to stuck it out and make that IT start up work with with alot passion and gusto. Daniel , a talented designer, also told stories about rocky  start-up design begins ....  Both guys hammered home the idea for getting user feedback into the design and build ASAP.  Amy is always a fun, loveable speaker and just wants us to do good design to improve the "quality of the day" for all  - hence better days , better people.  ( more of the love theme coming though).

As the day went on there were more on starts upslike Kevin Rose talked though us his top 10 tips.  The last speaker of the day did really impress me - Mark Pesce. Mark was a great storyteller, he took the audience on a journey into the future and also managed to tied up some the other speakers loose ends. Mark painted a tale of mobile-data-ubiquitous utopia - <sigh> which I say, time can only tell ...watch this space.

I must admit post-stock ... I am looking at everything or anything and thinking how can I make that more mobile .... and how or what I can turn into a start-up success story.....

( also i have added a ipad to my want-list)
